@moonandthestars wrote:@RedTop what are you referring to? what is some of the information that came out of their hearing (trial)?
Todd had an affair with a male business partner who ratted out the couple when the affair ended, maybe?

Found guilty of what?

@JamandBread what?!! I heard nothing about that. are you saying .... maybe the affair ended? or maybe there really wasn't an affair?
Did this business partner turn state's witness or something to shield himself? I can imagine normally a business partner would also have some liability if the business were found to be shady, wouldn't they?

@SurferWife Found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion - that's what I found on google. I don't know how many counts or what the specific counts are. They plan to appeal.

Evidently it came out during the trial that Todd had been having an affair with his male business partner who also participated in the fraud. When the relationship ended, the man tipped off the FBI out of revenge.
I didn't follow the trial nor have I read enough to be able to answer about the partner's liability in Chrisleys crimes.

@moonandthestars wrote:Ok, so I looked it up. bank fraud and tax evasion.
They are going to appeal. of course.
30 years imo would be just wrong - violent criminals don't get that sort of sentence (or even near it) these days.
there is a possibility they actually are innocent too.
IMO, white collar crimes deserve very serious sentences....30 years sounds right to me. I'm tired of the affluent (even if gained by fraud) get off while the poor go to prison for a long time.

I used to watch this show in the beginning thought it was pretty funny, then stopped when Todd started to creep me out with his obsession with his daughter, Savannah, it was more than a father/daughter relationship, JMO.

I agree. That's the only reality show I watch too.

Defendants must alert probation officers to any spending over $1,000. All other conditions are to remain the same the ruling said. So far, a sentencing date has not be determined.
The sentencing date is OCT 6.
