I caught a few reruns and now I am hooked.  Loved the characters and the interaction and the fast moving stories.  Is this show still in production and will it return in the Fall.

YES----in fact the entire Chicago trilogy---MED...Fire..PD--are fantastic.  You may want to check them all.  Highly recommend !!!!   All will return in the fall.

A specific date for the return of the trilogy hasn't been announced yet but they are thinking sometime mid to late September.

I saw this last week. Think he'll be a good addition to the cast.

Paul Adelstein, formerly of Prison Break, Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce, and Private Practice will be joining CPD in a recurring role as Interim Superintendent Jason Crawford. He is replacing Brian Kelton, who was murdered in last season's finale.

The "Chicago" shows will be returning on Sept 25th. They will continue to all be shown on the same night of the week - Wednesday starting with Med, then Fire, ending with PD.
