@Annabellethecat66 the problem is, the patients don't get to know that info, just like you probably have no idea what is going on inside the hopital(s) in your area.

In my family I have 2 sisters that are RN's and 3 nieces that are RN's and 2 great nieces that are RN's.

My sisters worked at MedStar where the helicopters would bring people in car accidents, etc.

They all have amazing stories to tell.  I'll just say this....my sister's favorite ...well...one of her favorite stories is about the time she reported for work on a Monday.  She found something rolled up in a towel, it was a regular size tea cup.  She was told it came from the lower part of a human male....think of that one!

I'm getting really tired of all these shows running re-runs after only one or two new episodes to stretch out the season.

My husband is a doctor who is currently working in hospital administration. He cannot stand to watch this show since everyone does everything wrong! I always enjoyed the show but I am starting to dislike all of the characters.

I feel so bad for Maggie and Ben and Auggie! I think Auggie will be very happy being with his brother, but he will really miss Ben and Maggie! I wonder if they will keep in touch and visit each other.....I knew something was going to happen to stop the adoption......Maybe Maggie will search out her daughter now.

@CANDLEQUEEN   this story was somewhat confusing for me. Auggie was Ben's student. Maggie and Ben became his foster parents because the previous foster parent couldn't handle all of Auggie's medical needs. Every time something good would happen, up would pop another obstacle. Maggie and Ben kept stepping up which was great but I never got any indication that placement would be permanent or that either of them wanted it to be. Then Auggie couldn't get the transplant because he didn't have a permanent home/parents. Once again Maggie and Ben to the rescue but also again they seemed to be responding to what Auggie needed at that time. Not saying there wasn't some bonding going on - particularly with Maggie who spent the most time with him - but to me it seemed like everything was initiated out of a need to help Auggie, not a want to be his parents. That was my perception.

This may have worked out for the best anyway. Maggie and Ben had just got married when this whole thing started; as a matter of fact they canceled their honeymoon. The two of them need to get to know each other as a married couple and then if they decide to pursue adoption that would be a wonderful thing for a child looking for his/her forever home/parents.

As for whether they will stay in touch with Auggie, I would think so. His brother's parents seemed like standup people so I hope they would encourage it.

Oops forgot to mention Halstead. He really is a piece of work. Guess since he's currently between women Natalie started looking attractive again. Glad Crockett called him out.

@Tique I think you are right, Auggie will be fine with his brother and new parents. I think Maggie and Ben do need some time together as newlyweds. Forgot that they cancelled their honeymoon! Yes the new parents seem really nice and upstanding. Forgot the red haired doctor's name, but he is a piece of work! Wow! Halstead is a piece of work-still learning all of the names! lol....

Halstead is just so incredibly unlikeable.   But I got sidetracked and missed a portion....Did Natalie end up going with the new boyfriend's recommendaiton over Halstead's?  

I was thinking if not, and she went with Halstead's it would not end well for her mom.
