Spoiler:

Spoiler
The actress who plays Natalie is confirmed to be leaving the show at the end of the season.  So speculation is that she will come clean about what happened when Sharon fires Will and she will be the one to voluntarily leave or get fired.

That was disappointing.

@Tique It kind of was. I was expecting more from the Finale. They really never wrapped up April's role, and I can guess that with Natalie, she ends up being fired...I was also dissappointed in how they handled Maggie's child and her figuring out about her, more detail was needed there tome anyway.....It was ok, but expected more. Looking forward to next season!

Re: Chicago Med

[ Edited ]

@CANDLEQUEEN   Maggie and Vanessa ended the way I thought it should. Maggie waited until her life wasn't going the way she wanted and then decided to potentially upend someone else's life. When she made the decision to give up her child she made her choice. I like that Vanessa asked Maggie what did she want. Vanessa was obviously happy with her parents and didn't want to look for her biological mother. That was her right and her choice. Maggie shouldn't have taken it away from her. Because she did Vanessa will probably always wonder if she got that spot on her own or if Maggie had something to do with it.

What more detail did you need?

April's role was wrapped up with her acceptance into the Nurse Practitioner program.  That will explain her absence.

I don't know what I wanted but I too was a little disappointed.

It seems to me that they left things rather open while they decide what to do with characters.  I'm assuming April will be gone in the NP program.  Can you still be a working nurse and get through that program?  I don't know.

Nothing really happened with Natalie.  She just won't be back next season and I would think they'll mention that she left or was fired.

Is Will coming back?  That hasn't been confirmed one way or the other.

I'm a little shocked that Dean has been named interim head of the ED.  I mean he hasn't been there that long and I would think Sharon has had to hear the grumblings by other staff about him.

Very blah for a season finale and also very predictible with the Will, Natalie situation.  I read that April will be starring in a new show so she won't be returning to Med.

@Lipstickdiva   Goodwin naming Dean as Interim Chief seemed strange to me also but it suggested his colleagues had been keeping all their frustrations/doubts about him from the one person who should have known. April went to Dr. Charles to talk about Dean. Charles had also witnessed him losing control which he apparently neglected to tell Sharon. Even Ethan - who it sounded like was getting ready to either suspend or fire Dean immediately before the shooting - hadn't told Sharon about his misgivings.

Power is what Dean craves. He won't see this as an Interim position; he will do whatever it takes to make it permanent.

@CANDLEQUEEN  I just re-read my earlier post and realized my last line comes across as combative. I didn't mean it that way. I was really asking you what you needed because I felt like I got what I needed.

This story hit a nerve for me because I know someone whose family was torn apart because a selfish person decided she wanted to insinuate herself into the family of the son she gave up who had told her repeatedly he didn't want to be a part of her life. There are stipulations people can put into their decrees if they want an open adoption. That wasn't done.

Well, since they knew the Chicago shows were being renewed, a few loose ends here and there will carry over to next season.

I hope Will gets fired, but since he has a brother on CP, I think they'll keep him .... or put him in the dog house for a while.

I was really liking Natalie and Marcel as a couple .... I hope they find a new love interest for him.   NOT happy about Dean, but he's obviously the character meant to be hated.

Most of all, I am glad Oliver Platt is still on the show.  I have liked him in everything he's ever been in.
