I read this afternoon the actress Monica Raymond who plays Gabby Dawson is leaving

the show. 

She will not be returning next season. 

I do not think I will miss the character of Gabby.

The poor girl is probably tired of having to be so angry all the time.  I wish her well in whatever comes next.

She was a very fresh addition in the early years.

I wondered what was going on when she went to talk to that man about going to Puerto Rico to volunteer at the end of the season finale.  I didn't really think she'd leave the show though.  I'm sorry to see her go.

@GingerPeach Your post made me laugh!  It's so true!  She always has 'issues' of some kind.

I wonder if they'll have her get pregnant and then that anurism (whatever) bursts and she dies.

Was it her choice?  I went looking but it never said anywhere.  I did see where it was renewed.

Hmm ........      I thought her blonde ambo sidekick was Monica Raymond ......  anyway  ....... perhaps that means the first scenes next season will be a funeral service for this gal who got killed in Puerto Rico?

Actually that is good news to me.  The show seemed to be too much around her anyway!!!
