What a tragedy. This beautiful accomplished young woman had so much to live for. My heart goes out to her family. Death is devastating for all of us to deal with, but suicide adds another layer that is hard for families to cope with. So sad.....
It's a reminder for all of us that we never know what another person is going through. What we see on the outside is not always indicative of what is going on inside.

May she rest in peace. My heart goes out to her family and friends. So much to offer that is gone too soon.

So tragic. I hope the press leaves her family alone. If they want to speak out, they should do it when it feels right.

Incredibly sad
We all need to stop stigmatizing people who live with mental health issues. Unfortunately that happens so often on these very forums.

I hope her family will eventually talk about the importance of mental health and the availability of support for mental health. That would be a useful legacy for their dear daughter, who looked like (on the outside) that she really had it all....(brains, beauty, accomplishments), etc. Very sad occurrence.

So very sad! You never know what is going on in the inside of someone. Just seeing her one would think oh she has it all, a great job, beauty, family......Mental illness does not discriminate! May she RIP!!!!

I do not believe only the mentally ill commit(sp?} suicide. I am sorry when someone does but I feel that they have their reasons.

@Goldengate8361 Cheslie was an advocate herself for mental health and talked about it. It was an issue she dealt with. sadly, she was not able to overcome what issues that tormented herself...
