Love her voice. Never missed the Sonny & Cher show and just waited for that solo of hers each week. Now, her voice is even richer. She is such a natural. That being said, she turns me off with those outfits today. Sorry, but I'll always listen-just won't be watching her unless it's maybe a movie. It would be so nice if she'd be more of a role model for girls today. Starting with her attire. You never hear anything bad about Cher. And that's something to be proud of. Said my piece, don't send me hate mail.

I think it's a mistake for parents to expect actors, singers and sports figures to be "role models" for their kids.   What are the parents thinking?    JMO

I love Cher.  I like her voice, and I like her acting.

I never liked her style.  She has a terrible sense of style.  Just because one "can" wear something, does not mean one "should" wear something.

That one Bob Mackie "get up" she wore to accept her award years ago was simply dreadful.

Hello. She is CHER. She is an entertainer. The important bits were covered.

She looked & sounded awesome!

True... Look at Gaga and, in her time, Madonna... What they wear on stage.. whatever the stage... isn't necessarily indicative of their personal style. It's all part of the hype...

I always liked her and think she looks fantastic. That bod at 71 is something to be proud of. I do remember an interview she did years ago where she said she doesn't exercise and eats what she wants. I don't know it that's still true but whatever she is doing is working.

And this alone is a reason she would be a role model! Her performance attire is just that - she's an entertainer. It doesn't reflect who she is as a person.

I would agree with that for most of humanity but not Cher!  The woman is one of a kind and has a sense of humor about it.   She's never been one to take herself too seriously    She can get by with it as far as I am concerned, and more power to her.
