Can someone explain in plain English how to watch this for free? I don't have Apple, and all the articles I have read do not explain how to watch. I am not computer saavy, but love Charlie and the Peanut's Gang. Thanks.

Apple owns the rights to all the Peanuts movies so they're only available on Apple TV.  However, you can watch for free today if you have an Apple ID.  So, just set up an Apple ID and you'll be able to watch it on a smart tv or phone / tablet on Apple TV+

How about buying the DVD?  My husband has had it for years now.  Buy it once, but will always have it.

I had no idea Apple owned the rights to Charlie Brown.  I guess this means no Charlie Brown Christmas special on regular tv.

Re: Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

Apple bought Peanuts in 2020. They let PBS air it the last couple of years, but no more.

I bought my Mom the DVD holiday boxed set at Wal-Mart many years ago.

You get the Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas shows.

They still have it for those interested (as does many other retailers).

$19.98

They also now have a boxed set with even more holiday specials:

A little off topic...MeTV is showing "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" at 6 pm EST tonight.

"Snoopy Come Home" will be shown next Sunday at 6 pm EST for those who might be interested.

Re: Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

I think it's a shame that we have watched this and other Charlie Brown specials for free all these many years and now you have to pay to see them!!!! A couple years ago DH bought this one, the Halloween one and the Christmas one for me and I am so glad he did!  I absolutely love the Thanksgiving one.  My favorite part is at the very end where Snoopy and Woodstock are having their "private" celebration and the very end where they are enjoying pumpkin pie with topping!  No holiday is complete for me without the Charlie Brown shows!!!  Love them!!!!
