I absolutely do not get the 'creepiness' factor at all.  I hate Taylor Swift and I'm a cat lover, and I have to say that when I viewed it (ready to hate it because of Taylor Swift), I found it interestingly intriguing and definitely want to see it!

@Shogirl  I had the same reaction prior to watching the trailer.  I have rescued many a cat over many decades so I know the dark side of street-cat life.  I am no fan of Taylor Swift so I prejudged prior to watching trailer.  Distaste for her is no reason to not see this film, too many other excellent and much-loved actors to miss this one....anticipating!

I will see it.

I enjoyed the stage production and don't have an issue with NOT comparing the two.  They will be very different.

her lyrics to her songs are HIGHLY negative.

Just Google some of the songs.  Seems she’s alway complaining

about something & being the victim w/ her songs. My sister’s

20-year old had her ‘Red’ CD on repeat during a long drive. About the

2nd time through...I started really listening to the lyrics...oof!

Don’t know, but when a young Tween (or younger) sing about

haters gonna hate & fakers gonna fake, it sets the tone for 

blaming others (ie ‘victim’). 

She’s an amazing business woman, tho. 

Gotta give her cred for that!

I don't hate her ,but I can't stand her, or her music. If  it weren't for the stellar cast this film  touts, knowing she was in it ,is enough to put me right off seeing it

Yes, both my husband and I don't care for the trailer at all.  The over sized sets made the cats look like mice. The CG fur/make-up was done poorly. Didn't like it at all.  Taylor Swifts' singing took a beautiful song and just ruined it.  Listening to her sing it was like nails on a chalkboard. You just wanted her to stop! There is so much wrong with the trailer, we think this movie will bomb at the box office. It doesn't matter how many stars are in a movie.  it wont help when even the trailer su cks!
