I love the  music. I am going to see it. You can't tell anything from a snippet on a trailer.

Will the Cats in the film be human-sized?

As with the stage musical, an oversized set and motion-capture suits were utilised during filming to create the illusion of a cat’s perspective, so, to viewers, the film’s felines will actually look roughly cat-sized.

I think it looks creepy and will not see it! We have season tickets to Broadway shows in our area and Cats is one of them for the next season. I am not looking forward to that but this looks even worse!

I never saw "Cats" on stage so this is my first exposure although I am familiar with the music.  Watched the trailer and had no problem with "creepiness".  I know this is a human adaptation of the steet-cat world, but the real street-cat world is creepy and unsafe hence ok with me.  What it did remind me of was Batman and Robin's Gotham City and its backstreet darkside!

I think it looks good but I do love a great musical! There are so many movies that come out that I have no interest in but others rave about how great it is. Great thing about the vast variety of movies that come out each year - most people can find something they like!

I will pass on CATS saw it on Broadway years ago and  thought it was awful.
