TV and Movies

I just viewed this movie on my Sundance channel today.  I generally do not care for the international confrontation, America first movies, but this just caught and held my attention.  It's the story of Somalia pirates and an American cargo ship in 2009.  As usual, Tom Hanks was excellent.  To be honest, he did not have a big speaking part, but his eyes, facial expressions and body language just communicate so many emotions.  The unfortuanate part in my viewing experience was putting up with commercials.  It was a good movie for me on this rather humid, hot afternoon.  I'm staying inside with the AC on, so the movie's timing was just good for me.

Tom Hanks is one of the best actors of his generation.

TH’s acting in that very long scene toward the end where he is being medically examined was amazing. He deserved every award out there for that scene alone.
