"War of the Roses" with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.  I loved the final scene.

Rope is based on a true story (I think the students were Leopold and Loeb), who killed a young boy just to see how it felt. Convicted and sent to prison.

Excellent cast, including Jimmy Stewart as the cop who followed the evidence that brought the boys to trial. Farley Grangier played one of the students.

@Group 5 minus 1

Thank you for mentioning this.  I've just checked IMDB and didn't find Paul Deasy listed in the cast of either "Dead Poets Society" or "The Lemon Sisters" although he lists both in ZoomInfo.

There is a Paul Deasy, actor, known for "Mistreated" (2012) although the photo doesn't look like I remember him. Dave king (former QVC host) is also in this film so this is no doubt "our" Paul Deasy.

Cannery Row is arguably the most unique movie I've ever seen. And I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

Re: Can you name a one-of-a-kind movie?

I forgot about this one.....

Caligula

It stars Malcolm McDowell, Teresa Ann Savoy, Helen Mirren, Peter O'Toole and John Gielgud.

It was a porno film!

Which goes to show, porno stars can become cross over movie stars!!!
