I think it was Annette Funicello that played in the beach movies. They were great movies.

We didn't go to the movies much when I was a teenager in the 1950s.

All I can recall were Elvis Presley and Pat Boone movies ... oh ... and musicals like Oklahoma, South Pacific.

Even until today ... I'm not a movie fan. Last time I was at the movies was in 2003 we were on vacation at a beach resort and it rained one afternoon so we decided to go to the movies.
