Planes Trains and Automobiles with John Candy and Steve Martin. Hilarious.
If you have Comcast use your voice remote and it will come up free.

Thanksgiving themed films are few. I, too, thought first of "Planes, Trains and Automobiles. "
Of course "Miracle on 34th Street " begins on Thanksgiving, and "Hannah and Her Sisters" has the Thanksgiving meal both at the beginning and the end of the movie.

@lavendar Babes in Toyland also known as The March of the Wooden Soldiers; The Man Who Came to Dinner; Christmas in Connecticut; The Wizard of Oz.
If you have Comcast, hit the microphone button and say "Free TV"
and then you can select from a lot of different programs and movies to watch without charge. It started yesterday and ends on the 30th.
Hope this helps. Good for you that the cooking is done! Hope you and your neighbor have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Humor
1925 The Gold Rush - Charlie Chaplain silent movie was one of the most hilarious movies that I ever saw as a teenager. Also good that it is silent if you have alot of company doing alot of talking .
1940 My Little Chickadee - W C Fields & Mae West . very funny
1952 Africian Queen - Katherine Hepburn and Humphery Bogart
1932 Grand Hotel - Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford, John & Wallace Barrymore , Wallace Berry ,
Tear jerker - 1988 Beaches with Bette Middler
Drama -
1992- The Last of the Mohicians with Daniel Day Lewis
1945 Mildred Pierce with Joan Crawford

@lavendar Another vote for Planes, Trains and Automobiles. If you have Spectrum cable, just do a search of the title off your menu, and choose "on demand" - you can start the movie anytime you like.
It's a great movie!
