Imitation is the highest form of flattery, so Hallmark should feel flaterd that Lifetime will halt its regular programming same as them starting on October 25 through January.  Lifetime has been dishing out a taste of their Christmas movies the past couple weeks.  The ones they are showing are from previous years, but they don't  have as many as Hallmark.  They must have made a huge investment to up the production numbers for 2019, to dedicate around the clock programming to Christmas movies.  

I noticed Hallmark Movie Channel has been running repeats of Christmas movies they've aired before so far in October.  I guess the syndicated mystery reruns and their own mystery movies are already gone until January.

This was probably mentioned, but I confess I didn't read all the comments.

There are many Christmas movies on now before Halloween, but good luck finding any the week prior to Christmas and Christmas day.  That's when I enjoy watching them.  Fortunately, I can record these very early showings.  Why do they air them so early?

 When my children were little we made sure we watched the Christmas cartoon shows, like Charley Brown, Rudolph, and Frosty. If I recall correctly, they weren't on until after Thanksgiving.  Now that they are all grown up, they still enjoy watching because they bring back such sweet memories. 😊
