Never watched the show ... but once saw a snippet when scanning channels. I thought he was creepy, and didn't watch long enough to understand the appeal.

Well, now I see Todd and Julie's trial ended in a unanimous guilty decision by the jury.

Anyone know why this show was so popular?

I watched off and on for years. They are charming people and the show was very funny. I know they are looking at a lot of time but am doubtful they'll get it. I'm sure they will do some time.

The promos really turned me off. What I don't understand is why would someone doing something illegal draw attention to themselves by getting a TV show?

I agree that if they did wrong they should be punished but they were funny and had a good show. I'm entitled to my opinion just as you are to your's.

I never could stand this show or these people. I know someone who watached them in the past but I could never see the point.

I saw nothiing " charming' about them.

It was like having an inside look at your riotously, dysfunctional extended family. You're glad they don't live with you, but you can't look away because around every corner there's another catastrophe that they somehow managed to avert....until now.

If you aren't a fan of sarcastic humor, you wouldn't appreciate the show. I loved it! Just as I loved Jeff Lewis' show.

I watched it off and on for years and I never saw anything creepy in it. I found it very funny, especially Nanny Faye. Like all reality shows, there's not much reality in it but its fun to watch. There's no yelling, screaming, hair pulling, table throwing, nastiness in it. Just a family who loves each other. And parents who commit financial crimes.....lol. Which wasn't part of the show. Even though some people posting seem to think it was.
