[Love my grandkids]

Yay! I love love this movie! It's on TCM tomorrow at 7 p.m. (West Coast time) on Dish so set to record. I love  Clifton Web, Myrna Loy and Jeanne Crain and haven't been able to find this movie in years!

I saw "Cheaper by the Dozen" when I was about 8 years old. Don't know how it happened but my Mom took me to a grade school not far from our house. I did not attend that school. So I have no idea how I was allowed to go and watch the movie or how my Mom found out about it. I had to be bussed to a school about an hour away. But that is a different story.

I liked the movie so much that I eventually bought the book.

@drizzellla I got the book from the library years ago. I've seen this movie at least 5 or 6 times over the years and will likely watch it a few more times.  I find it charming and very well done. Jeanne Crain is an all time favorite of mine.

Love this book as well and must have read it a zillion times. Hope you have also read "Bells on Their Toes" which continues the story.

@Luvsmyfam  I honestly have no idea. I watched about 5 minutes of the movie you mentioned and didn't like it.

I really think you would enjoy Cheaper By The Dozen. It's set in the 20s and I love movies set in that era. Hope you'll give it a try and see what you think.
