The American version was awful! David Tennants accent was appalling and the whole thing came off as fake. It rarely ever works when they try to bring a British show to the US and Americanize it

I still wonder, why did they do this? Broadchurch was hardly over and they came up with Gracepoint. It never did make sense to me. It's not like we didn't know the story as we'd just seen Broadchurch. But of course I watched because of David Tennant.

So sad that the season is over, and we have the long wait until Season 3 starts. This season was not quite as good as Season 1, but I still enjoyed it very much. Wonder what will happen next year?

I liked what they did with Joe. Deserved it and if it takes Vigilante justice, then so be it.

I'm still confused about the other case. Were both the girls the one man's daughters? Claire and her husband were scum. Couldn't stand either one of them and Claire always with a smirk on her face. She was a disgrace.

So the two counselors are going to get together? That means more court cases-I'd rather see more police work, but I do like Charlotte Rampling.

I've just got to get my CC working. It was like they were speaking a different language. It WAS English, wasn't it, lol?

I think the older girl, Lisa, was his niece. I used captions for this season and understood it so much better! David Tennant is wonderful, but hard to understand.

I will never understand why they put Damian Lewis in Band of Brothers. A Brit. It was the first time I ever saw him (love him) and had no idea he was not American. He was terrific. This is one time it worked. You have to admit that, lynneuk

I was a little underwhelmed at the Sandbrook reveals. If Lee really was guilty why didn't he just stay in France. He had already beaten the charge once. Of course, I didn't believe a word that came out of Claire's mouth, so who knows if her version of events is really how it happened. But I think we're done with Sandbrook, so it doesn't matter.

It will be interesting if we are done with Joe. I don't see how they could actually keep him from seeing his kids. He was acquitted and could sue for joint custody (I think). But I hope we're done with Joe.

I liked season 2 because we got a lot of interaction between Hardy and Miller (Tennant and Coleman are wonderful together). What I didn't like is that we hardly saw anything about the other townspeople. Instead they took up screen time with the two lawyers that I found not only boring but irrelevant.

Nevertheless, I am looking forward to season 3. It was interesting that we didn't see Hardy answering the cabbie's "where to" question. He seemed to hesitate. Maybe he isn't leaving. I wondered about that because isn't his job in Broadchurch?
