I didn't realize Claire had Lee smother the girl-thought it was his own idea. I found it very confusing and couldn't wait till that whole business was over and we could get back to the trial.

Re-watched that section of the revelations to revise my musings. Claire does know it's Rohypnol. Lee tells her. She doesn't tell Lee to smother Pippa. She remarks to him they have to clean this mess up. Meaning both the evidence of Lisa's death and Pippa, the witness, who mistakenly thinks Lee injured Lisa. Pippa has no idea her Dad killed Lisa. Then Claire says Pippa should be asleep now. Lee goes up to the bedroom.
