Re: Britbox: Is It Worth It?

You bet your bippy it's worth it! We don't like much of the trash on regular tv and watch mostly Britbox and Acorn.

My local PBS offers a UK option and over the years I've grown to enjoy many of the shows offered. That said, I'm tempted to try one of the streaming options for the simple reason that with PBS one is limited to the shows they program and while they do offer their own 'Passport' option, that's still limited to the programming they have in their inventory. Moreover, as is often the case, PBS is extremely redundant, offering the same programs over and over, so I'd like an option that offers more on-demand variety. Besides, the local UK option's programming has been pretty dismal for some time.

Re: Britbox: Is It Worth It?

Judaline, yes, we sometimes watch some of the shows on closed caption.

I do love Britbox, my dh and I have watched many series and feel it's worth the monthly fee, and there are tons of shows available.

Coming up soom is the true story, The Great British Train Robbery, looking forward to that one.
