Brian Dennehy, Actor

[ Edited ]

Dies at 81.  Very good actor.   I saw him on Broadway in Long Day's Journey into Night with Vanessa Redgrave and Philip Seymour Hoffman for which he won his second Tony.

RIP.

He was a great actor.  Liked eveyrhing he did, but I will always remember his portayal of John Wayne Gacy.

That was some cast you got to see in Long Day's Journey...three great actors.

We enjoyed him on The Blacklist.  May he rest in peace.

I saw him in Death of a Salesman on Broadway - what a terrific actor -

Working mid-town, I would often see him striding, and I mean striding, along the Avenues, a large man always with a smile on his face.  As so often happens in New York, people let him pass without disturbing him and he would continue on.

A loss for sure.
