I just read the news online.  Hard to believe.  

Buttner graduated with honors from Harvard University with a B.A. in social studies and went on to become a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, where she graduated with high honors in politics and economics.

What a touching rememberance it hard to watch without tears.

     Although the photo with her big dog curled up on her lap makes me smile.

Such a lovely, talented woman.  My heart aches for her family.

I was saddened to hear of her passing. She was a very impressive and smart lady. I feel sorry for her co-workers and family, especially her 2 daughters.

I was very sorry to hear that.  My father passed away at 55 and I was devasted and even after 36 years, it's still devastating.  I'm 62 now and I think about how much he missed, it makes his loss even harder at times.    My sympathy to her daughters and other family and friends.

Smart and beautiful lady, loved her red hair, I always liked her and her reports, but cannot remember when the last time I saw her.  I missed Cauveto's tribute to her, may she rest in peace, condolences to her family!
