I read where they are reprising the role of the New York City Council woman Whoopi Goldberg. She will appear in the upcoming season. Many fans are unhappy about this cast member. I guess we know where this season is going.

I for one can not stand WG and her big mouth!!!! I guess I won't be watching BlueBloods anymore, simply bc she will be on it. I refuse to watch anything she is in.

I love Whoopi especially in comedies. She was great in Ghost. As far as Blue Bloods, since it's not a comedy, she will play one of the usual characters on this show. All boring except Danny.

I like watching Blue Bloods & I'm glad it's finally coming back. I love Whoopi & am looking forward to seeing her.

Blue Bloods coming back Fri. Dec. 4th, can't wait. I love Whoopie Goldberg. Also they are adding another new Reagan to the cast Joe Hill, late son of Joe Reagan.

I will still be watching and give it a chance. I do think it has gone a bit downhill in these later seasons.

I am trying, but I just cannot like the Edie character.

the one I didn't like was Danny's wife, they just didn't belong together.

kind of like Edie , I forgot her husband's name, I think it's because there is no chemistry between the actors

there is more between Danny and his partner, and I am not speaking romantically just actor to actor, if that makes sense
