Blacklist Season 7

My husband and I are late to the game.  We've been watching Blacklist on Netflix.  We really liked the show in the beginning starting at about Season 6 and definitely into Season 7, are interest is diminishing.  It just seems it's the same thing over and over.  Thought that the indentity of Reddington was finally revealed (Ilya Koslov), only to find that probably isn't true.  And now all this Katarina.  Without giving too much away...does it get any better?  I know Season 8 is back on regular TV.

I really like James Spader in anything he does, and loved the show for the first few seasons .... BUT it has deteriorated to the "same ol same old" .....  I blame the writers.

 

Unfortunately, it just doesn't hold my interest anymore.
