Black Panther is on t.v. tonight; commercial free

ABC is airing Black Panther tonight, commercial free. They are following it with a one hour special on Chadwick Boseman. IMHO, I think he is as important to cinema history as James Dean was in his day. Washington Post has an article today about how C.B.'s death is having a massive impact on kids, especially Black kids.

Thanks, I've seen Chadwick in other movies, but not Black Panther.

I knew this was on tonight, I wasn't aware it would be commercial free. I believe Disney is the parent company of ABC, this is such a nice thing for them to do. They will lose out on the money they were going to get for sponsorship, but at a time like this it doesn't matter.

Saw this in the theatre and it was fabulous. Am watching again tonight. The loss of Chadwick Boseman is so sad...

Disney is the parent company of ABC.

Black Panther is a wonderful movie and Chadwick Boseman was an excellent actor. He will be missed by his fans and friends.

I am a Marvel movie fan and have seen all of the films in the franchise.

I want to see other films like "42" a story about baseball and Jackie Robinson.

I set my DVR and watched it late last night. I really was not interested in it when it was released as I am not in to most of the Marvel characters and stories.(Guardians of the Galaxy is my exception; I love the Guardians).

I liked it, but I kept thinking that it reminded me a lot of The Lion King story. So of course I had to google to see if there were similarites and there are a ton. (I guess this was a big deal of comparision when Black Panther was released). Not a movie that I would watch again, but it was watchable.
