Watching this on TCM. Jim Arness is his co-star. Jim's hair is blonde. Wonder if he was a natural blonde. He was Norwegian. Also he absolutely towers over John Wayne.

@Group 5 minus 1  I watched this yesterday also..the old scenes from Hawaii were a hoot! Don't make them like they used to!
