This is a sequel to the original film that debuted 40 years ago on Netflix. It's like no time has passed, a lot of the actors in the first film are in this one, adding Joesph Gordon Levitt and Kevin Bacon to the mix. This movie was so much fun start to finish with so much action (also they used a lot of the original songs in the first film). This was a blast from the past (Eddie Murphy looks the same), if you were a fan of the first film you will LOVE this one, I did!

I hadn't even heard about this new movie!  I love ❤️ Beverly Hills Cop and watch it a few times a year lol.  😂

Sounds like an amazing cast too!  I miss all the old characters, especially his boss!   Eddie Murphy is great and you're right, never does seem to age!  He's just as cute now as back then!

We watched it last night and thought it fell short.  40 years ago, we were in our late teens/early 20's so thought the BHC movies were the bee's knees.  Tastes change when you get older and have been there, done that.
