Beverly Hills 90210 Reboot

[ Edited ]

DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL LIKE  WITH ONLY 6 EPISODES, WHY BOTHER??

The highly anticipated Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot has found a familiar home.

On Wednesday, Fox, the network that housed the show for an entire decade, announced plans for a six-episode revival of the iconic 1990s hit to air this summer.

Original stars Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering and more return to play “heightened versions of themselves in a brand-new serialized drama – with a healthy dose of irreverence – that is inspired by their real lives and relationships.”

So short of a trial run. Sometimes you watch shows/reboots, get invested in them

and then they get cancelled so quick.

I might tune in just to see how they look, act, etc but right now I am more concerned

to hear if Dylan, Luke Perry, is going to be o.k.

i will be watching. i hate investing in a full season of a show only to have it cancelled.

with six episodes i may not feel so badly.

I liked the show at the time.  I usually find remakes disappointing.  The show is supposed to be about their current life, not where the character is years later.  If I know when it's on, I may watch.

@CherryHugs I WILL "BOTHER"! I am 71 and for more years than i care to admit my guilty pleasure has been watching all the reruns, from Day 1 to Donna and David's wedding!

Never watched when it was first on, no interest. I have no idea why it caught my attention all those years ago!

Right now on Dish channel 117 has been showing reruns for ages and I DVR them ALL.

I always thought David grew to be so handsome and always enjoyed seeing how he matured, thru the good times and bad.

I hope Tori Spelling uses some of her salary to pay some of her ginormous, widely reported, bills!

I find it a huge YAWN.  Who wants to see aging old child actors?  Most of them are all hard up for money and would do anything to get a job.

While I'll probably give it a shot, I'm curious as to what the appeal of this bunch at middle age might or might not be.
