Maybe his drug issues was why she could not fully commit to him. The relationship was close but seemed to have a distance.

I keep hearing and reading that people who are addicts (if he was and we don't know that he was) are very good at hiding their addiction.

I only mention this because someone posted that they were surprised that Betthany would be with someone who had an addiction since she was so health conscious.  

People who are close to those who have addictions sometimes aren't aware of it.  I have no idea about this person, I'm just commenting in general.

It could be that he mixed it with alcohol or something.  It could be that he got it on the street (mixed with fentanyl).  That's often the reason people who take oxycodone die because they get it illegally and THAT has fentanyl and other illegal drugs mixed with it.

I do know something about oxycodone and was surprised it was that and not oxycotin.  There is a difference.  It's much more difficult to overdose with oxycodone than it is with oxycotin and it's difficult to 'legally' get oxycotin these days and when you do, it's a very limited dosage.

Anyway, I'm sorry for anyone who knew him.  I saw him on housewives a few times.  He seemed like a person who was a calming influence with her.

A recent episode had her crying and throwing fits left and right.  Now, hearing this, I have to wonder if she found out something about him before this overdose.

I know these shows happen in 'real time' months back, so this episode would have nothing to do with his death, but it could be she found out something about him way back.

The truth is we don't know and it's really none of our business.  He wasn't (to my knowledge) a 'personality' in that he wasn't on the show all of the time.  When he was there (on the show) it was for short times during parties, etc., not on a regular basis.

It's always sad when a person dies.  It's way worse when they die under these circumstances.

Maybe  that is why Bethanny was such a mess on the last few shows....and on that trip they all took. she was crying and depressed....

I do feel terrible for Bethenney and her loss, but no one on these shows are even close to "Normal".

There are many,  many, many people who take Percocet for chronic pain. I wouldn't label these people as "into drugs". Has it been reported that he used Percocet recreationally?

I'd say her primary trait is money conscious.  And he had lots and lots and lots of money.  Enough is never enough for her.  As for people doubting it was deliberate, I don't doubt the reporting.  None of us know him.  I believe she could drive any man to drugs and some women too.
