So many - but I'd vote for Dr Zhivago or Lawrence of Arabia

Comedy - Tootsie

Oh!  My!  That's (as they say) in the eye of the beholder!  My best every is surely not most people's best ever.

I thought "American Sniper" was well made and I liked the story it told about an American who died too soon.

There have been many others (in my opinion) which were beautifully made and a joy to watch.  I'm not going to sit here and list all of them.

I would say I like movies that make me think about them afterward.  I like movies that are beautiful to watch.  But in all honesty one of my favorite movies ......I can't believe I'm saying this.....is one about Greek Gods I saw with my daughter.

Why was it one of my favorites?  Because it brings back a fun, wonderful memory and kinda describes our relationship.....I hate those movies, Greek Gods, ugh!  But I went because I worship that baby (my baby girl).  It was soooo loud, crashing and banging, so much noise....I fell asleep... yepper, I did.

Suddenly, she takes her arm and pushes me!  I wake up!  "What?  Is it time to go"?  She says, "Mom!  You were snoring so loud and it became so quiet.....we could hear you everywhere in the theatre"!

That sums it up!  Even after that she still wanted to go to the movies again with me, but the next time I got to pick the movie!  Mothers and daughters......daughters and mothers....Ahhhhh!!!

The ones starring Bette Davis.

An Affair to Remember - the Cary Grant version

Mildred Pierce

Driving Miss Daisy
