Re: Been watching the show on 3 former president's wives.

[ Edited ]

Haven't seen this series, but did watch the movie "Julia" about Julia Child that was on CNN recently.  It was very intersting.

I knew nothing about her, never watched her cooking shows, only vaguely heard of her.  She led a very interesting life.

I've really enjoyed this series and hope it gets another season.  I saw something about it on a talkshow and they said there would be three first ladies portrayed each season. I liked how they picked First Ladies from different eras, made it more interesting.  Michelle Pfeiffer was the best in my opinion, as Betty Ford.  Hoping for another season!

I've read many biographies and autobiographies of most of the recent first ladies--and learned a lot!

Michelle Pfeiffer and Gillian Anderson are excellent in this series. Although I like Viola Davis as an actress, I think she was miscasted for this. The over-exaggerated pursing of her mouth is really distracting.

Watched a few of these. Did not care for them-don't know why.
