Really???-of all the fascinating people who contributed so much during 2014 - someone is picked for marrying George Clooney? To add insult to injury she wasn't selected for her professional accomplishments - but because she married George.

I was shocked and thought she was talking about Brad and Angelina at first. When they showed Amal's picture I thought WHAT! She married an actor that said he would never marry again and they both have good jobs and lots of money. That's about it.

To be fair, her list is about the most Fascinating Person. Not about who accomplished the most or the most deserving. It's not like Time's Person of the Year which went to the Ebola Fighters, as a group.

Her list, as well as People's Annual Sexiest Man Alive, is based on who's in the news more. Who was in a big movie or TV show, etc. In that aspect, Amal certainly fit the bill as George was famous for saying he would not remarry so there was a lot of public interest in who Amal was.
