When I gave birth and when my DIL gave birth no makeup was allowed for cleanliness sake.

I doubt she gave birth in full makeup. No doubt she got made up and prepped for her photo op.

When my daughter was in labor in June there were hours with nothing to do so she put on a full face of makeup! They didn't mind at all. She anticipated the pictures after.
