Baby on Poldark

So does anyone have an idea of what happened to Caroline and the doc’s baby on the series Poldark? Did that dog bite the baby??

i just finished watching. As far as I could tell the baby had a  damaged heart and wasn't strong enough to withstand a simple cold.  She did pass.  Nothing to do with the dog.

From what I could gather the baby had some respiratory/heart problem.

Dr. Ens told Ross the baby would not survive long due to a congestive heart condition.

I probably would have missed it too, but I have started watching my programs with subtitles! It seems to help me follow along.

I always have watched Brit shows using subtitles. And since "The Miniaturist" I follow up by reading episode summaries and reviews.
