BOSCH - watching, have watched?

I've read many of the novels and am finally getting into the Prime streaming version.

The opening credits alone are unique and enthralling. This image is SO much better on film.

Bosch (2014) — Art of the Title

I'm happy to see there are seven whole seasons to enjoy.

Who's watching, has watched, and/or has fond memories of books or tv episodes?

Re: BOSCH - watching, have watched?

I enjoy this show so much, that from time to time I re-watch the entire series which spanned 7 seasons.

I am looking forward to the spin off (for lack of a better word) that will air in January (last that I heard)  on IMDB TV.

I have only read a handful of the books. Once, started watching the show it' was hard for me to read the books. Although,  I thoroughly enjoy the Renee Ballard/Harry Bosch books.

Re: BOSCH - watching, have watched?

I started reading the series with book three. My dad turned me on to Harry Bosch. I liked the third one so much I went back and read the first two. After that I kept up as they were published. I really liked the Prime series. At first I was a little put off because that wasn't what I pictured Harry to look like. I got over that by the end of the first episode. LOL Was sad to see the series end.

@NEvans2

I begin watching the show before I read the books, which is why it's hard for me to read the earlier books. Harry Bosch is Titus Welliver to me. Add to that that, in the books Harry fought in the Vietnam War I believe vs  the TV show where he is a veteran of  Desert Storm and Afghanistan.

When I read the books (the later ones) I think to myself that  he is getting long in the tooth to still be doing some of these things. (smile)

The "house" is spectacular!! Overlooking Los Angeles.

I'll need to catch up, I watched the first three seasons.

I've read a lot of the books and really like the TV series. I was sorry to see it end. The only season I didn't really like was season 6 but the the rest of them were really good.

I watched it 2 times.  I almost never do that except with Navy Seals.

Glad you liked it too.

I had read all the books so was excited about the show on tv. However I really didn't care for Titus Welliver. He's not how I pictured Harry.
