I read on Apple News that his wife called the hotel desk to come up and he was found with his left hand on his chest. To me that indicates maybe a heart attack but the autopsy will show that.

Are you referring to the Jason Alexander from Seinfeld?

Saget was found with his left arm ACROSS his chest. With a heart attack, the right arm is normally found across the chest.
Actor Jason Alexander is alive and well, his dead was a hoax.

Obvious causes of death (aneurysm, stroke, heart attack, cancer, etc.) would generally be found in the physical autopsy. And it may have been found and just not reported yet. If the ME doesn't find any of those then you go for the toxicology and lab tests to find the answer. If nothing jumps out then, you fall back to the classic answer of "heart failure." That's sort of the "We don't know what really happened, but we need something to fill in on the death certificate, so heart failure it is."

I was not speaking of Jason Alexander from Seinfeld himself, I know he is alive and well, but he had a sister who died from Schleroderma like Saget did.

When I saw Bob Sagets most recent photos, I noticed that his face was quite puffy, more than weight gain might explain. I noticed the same thing on John Ritter's last photos and Garry Shandling's. I have no idea whether my observations are at all relevant but I imagine that pathologists will be looking at all manner of possibilities to determine what happened.

That's really nothing more than we knew from the beginning.

I liked Bob Saget in his sitcoms but didn't appreciate the humor shown in his stand-up acts.
And, I'm relieved to hear Jason Alexander is still alive.

TMZ is reporting that he was found in bed. He had just gotten over Covid-19. They are saying he probably died from a heart attack or stroke. Very sad.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing, he was too young.
I think it is just basic human curiosity to want to know the cause of someone's death. Just a simple explanation like "heart failure" or "stroke". I don't think that is too personal for the public to know.
I see it as the same as when they give out a newborn's weight and length. Why does anyone other than the parents need to know that? But no one complains that that info is too personal.
