I liked the speech at the end.  Had me in tears!  😂

I kept waiting for the elevator to get stuck and hoping to see a glimpse of Sheldon's mom, Meemaw, sister, and brother in the audience.  I love Amy's makeover!  She and Sheldon are my favorite characters.

I enjoyed it and thought Young Sheldon was good also. I do think the parents should have been there on BB. I think Laurie Metcalf is on Broadway so maybe she could not get away. She could have thanked Jesus . His Mom . Would 'Meemaw still have been alive? Did I miss it were any of them in the audience ? Amy's parents?

I also enjoyed the aftershow and Stephen Colbert. Of course much more and it would be 'enough already '

Meemaw made an appearance on BB a few years ago. Sheldon mentioned she always had candies and tissues up her sleeve.

She was introduced to Amy and the 2 did not hit it off.

I've tried to post several times, once ended up in the wellness forum and so I tried to copy and paste and that isn't working!  ARGH Technology!

I was actually underwhelmed, but I will say that it was a very sweet ending.   The show is still funny.  Sheldon's speech at the end was wonderful and I was okay with Penny being pregnant.  Some of the previews said that 2 pregnancies would be revealed--I missed the first 10 minutes (coming home from a business trip), so did I miss something?

The elevator scene with Penny was really funny.

I thought that Raj deserved more of a wrap up than he got though.

All in all, well done, Chuck Lorre!  I shall miss BBT!

I follow Kaley Cuoco on Instagram, so I saw bits/pieces

of the show & everything building up to it but....

I stopped watching when Penny cut her hair & stopped

working at the Cheesecake Factory...quite a while ago.  

And with that, I feel like it r.e.a.l.l.y limped to the finish line.

The Sheldon character was unusual & quirky when he was

younger but as he got older...it was kinda creepy. 

Just never connected to it after awhile...and I’m not

the only one who thought this.  The writing just didn’t know

how to adjust their characteristics to their age.

I'll probably go back and catch in On Demand just because I did watch the show up until about 2 years ago. I'd like to see how they finish it up but quite honestly, I totally forgot about it last night until it was halfway over.

I did watch some of the retrospective afterwards and was not impressed.  I've never been a big Johnny Galecki fan in real life and still wasn't. I wish someone else would have done the show.  Kaley looked like she rolled out of bed without even brushing her hair.

I enjoyed the last show. Not too schmaltzy. Sheldon's speech to his friends at the end was a perfect wrap up, IMO. Nicely done.

I loved the finale!  It was done so well.  The last two seasons were a different story.  I think the show definitely needed to end.  Great cast though!

@Yahooey   Did that episode with Meemaw on BBT air before Young Sheldon?

I couldn't imagine the Meemaw in Young Sheldon being that way to Amy.
