Usually I don't watch them. Watched the Golden Globes all the way through this year. Could not get thru even 15 minutes of others. Lost interest last night part way through.

i was happy to watch the dresses (Red Carpet) and the opening was a happy surprise!

That song is so energizing, and Justin Timberlake has authentic talent, I think. Fantastic opener to relieve tension and jolly everyone up. Much like the get-out-of-your-seat-and-shake-all-over technique once used in elementary schools.

The best part of the entire show for me was a really small moment. It was when Warren Beatty walked out to present best picture and the camera panned the audience and we saw his sister Shirley MacLaine waving to him enthousiastically. I thought that was so sweet.
