I didn't realize it was over 30 surgeries, @colliemom4 .  Boy, that takes a lot of stamina.

Someone coming back professionally from all the physical losses that Benjamin's sustained, I feel, is very inspiring to others with obstacles.   To be an active, roving reporter, with one eye functioning, and limb prosthetics, is challenging indeed.  But people with serious or even grave challenges can do great things, if motivated.

@colliemom4 - In addition he list one eye & wears a prosthetic. At first the eyes did not match but he now wears a matching one. He’s a class act & inspiration. I always liked Benjamin.
