I was so delighted to glimpse Ukraine- wounded but well- recovering Benjamin Hall back on the regular reportorial roster, on Harris Faulkner on Fox. Saw only a minute of it, but Benjamin looked spectacular in a cream shirt, still thin but smiling, and adding a personal note about how some of the Invictus people had been recovering along with him.
Of course, he's been around, being interviewed and talking about his book, but it was the first time for me to see him back in harness again, as he should be!
Keep up the good work, Benjamin.

I love that guy. I'm so happy he is recovering and still with us.

@Oznell I saw the report at lunchtime. It was so good to see him reporting again and as someone who can relate to what these heroes went through. I wasn't sure if this was his first report, but it's the first I saw him out and about after he did his book interviews and some commentary.
ETA: Harris was clearly delighted with his reporting!

I saw this and it was a bright spot in the midst of our challenges. I have such respect for these athletes. They feel they have been given another chance at life by participating in these games. Did you hear the young man add that it gave him "another opportunity to wear his uniform". Major respect for these brave souls who put their lives in harm's way for our safety.
Excellent and worth while reporting Benjamin!

My exact thoughts too, @santorini .
@PA Mom-mom , you are right-- Harris always beams when she's talking to Benjamin! I think she kind of dotes on him, as so many of his colleagues seem to do.
@phoenixbrd , I had missed that comment you quoted from a young participant-- what a testament, coming from him! Almost brings tears, these wonderful young people.

I didn't see him, but I'm glad he's doing so well! Didn't he lose sight in one eye?

In the dictionary next to the word brave, is a picture of Benjamin.

Prince Harry does a great job with the Invictus Games. He modeled them after the Warrior Games we have here in the US.
Glad the effort is being highlighted across the mediasphere.

@beach-mom Yes. He's had over 30 surgeries. He also lost a leg on one side, a foot on the other, suffered hand damage and severe burns.
