BB-Kyland Smelling Food

What is with Kyland smelling all the food so much.  Not just smelling it - rubbing the tortillas all over his face, tossing them back in the plastic bag and on to the counter.  Someone else could've eaten them from this bag.  Xavier was trying to eat a sandwich at the time and said Kyland always smells his food a lot.  I think Production should've told them to stop it long ago as it is a health issue.  Disgusting!

On one of the recent threads Gardenman explained that hand sanitizer has gotten on the food when brought in by staff and that is why Kyland smells it, to make sure it hasn't been affected.

 

ETA:  There is no logical explanation for the tortillas.

The eyes through which you see others may be the same as how they see you.

Kyland was shown sniffing other things too not just food.

I think they are talking about Big Brother, not food or cooking shows.
