These two episodes are "late" Perry, coming at the very end of Season 8 (in case you don't get FETV and want to look them up in your DVD collection.) They make a fun little double feature of special interest to Perry Mason fans looking for a good Tuesday night diversion.
8:00 p.m. Eastern-- Perry Mason, "The Case of the Wrongful Writ" Raymond Burrr, Barbara Hale, William Hopper, James Shigeta, Nobu McCarthy
The P.M. series always had a fascination with things of the Far East. If I'm not mistaken, Raymond Burr was interested in Asian art and culture, and maybe that influenced the show? In this one, suavely handsome Japanese American leading man, James Shigeta, is a lawyer friend of Perry's, who gets pulled into a scam full of foreign intrigue, and of course, murder. I love adorable, too-infrequently-seen James Shigeta, and it's fun to see him pop up here.

9:00 p.m. Eastern-- Perry Mason, "The Case of the Mischievous Doll" Raymond Burr, Barbara Hale, William Hopper, Mary Mitchel
One of those fun look-alike episodes, in which a spacey young woman is the indentical double for a madcap heiress, and consults Perry about some suspicions she has about being used to further a nefarious scheme....
FETV is channel 323 on my DirecTV system-- sorry I don't know what it is on other systems. By the way, they run "T.J. Hooker" right after Perry. I don't watch it very often, but it's amusing to see Bill Shatner in such a relentlessly 'strenuous' phase of his career...
