Rosalind Russell is one of my favorite actresses of yesteryear.  I don't think she's ever been in a bad movie.  It's been awhile since I've seen Mame but I remember njoying it.  I like the set designs in that movie.  How her apartment changed over time.  And her wardrobe.  I luv stuff like that.

Peggy Cass was very good as Agnes Gooch.  and that was the handsome Roger Smith playing the adult Patrick.

I always tear up at the end when she's climbing the staircase with her new nephew and telling him the same things she told Patrick the night they first met. It makes you feel like she is going to get to live another adventure even in her old age and that she's almost immortal.
