I saw they were to be on, so I'll be watching. Wish they were showing " It Happened to Jane", with Jack Lemmon and Ernie Kovacs. Also, "With Six You Get Eggroll" with Brian Keith. Hope everyone enjoys the movies.

Re: Attention Doris Day Fans

@GingerPeach If I go to stay at the Cypress inn, I’ll have to leave the boys at home. I can’t travel across town much less cross country with them. I would stay there without a pet. Thanks for posting. I love Doris Day.

I think Down with Love is a cute parody of the Day/Hudson movies

What about The Man Who Knew too Much with Jimmy Stewart. Doris sings "Que Sera, Sera".

Love Doris Day!  I prefer her romantic comedies, but she was very good in Midnight Lace and Julie.

When I was in my 20's I was a waitress. There was a regular who would call me Doris. My name is Melissa. One day I ask him why he called me Doris. He said I reminded him of Doris Day. I told him I look nothing like  Doris Day. He told me it was my demeanor.

This Sunday on TCM, starting early, will be a Doris Day marathon of her movie classics. Love her movies, and have a lot of them set to record. Smiley Happy

I love the old ones. My Dream is Yours, Romance on the High Seas, etc. That voice. Still my favorite singer. And NOT because she's from my home town! I must say Midnight Lace was great. She can do it all. Drama, comedy, musicals. A natural.
