Queen Elizabeth does not wave with her hand facing toward her and her fingers doing a rather rapid scratching motion. 

 

The Queen's hand is at right angle to her person with it slowly moving back and forth.

I thought the use of both English and Norwegian was very effective in conveying the two worlds that Martha and Olav inhabited and their attempts to navigate them.

I loved this series too. She was such a beautiful lady, always with a stunning hat on. I had tears in my eyes when it was over.

I think at the end it said she died around 7 years later.
