At 88, Frankie Valli Belting Out His Hits in the U.K.

Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are in the midst of their tour in the U.K.

 

Their first engagement was last Saturday, June 25, at Scarborough.  Here is a video from a segment of that performance, if you are interested.   Is he going to remain faithful to that vow he made decades ago that he will be touring until the age of 90?  

 

Phenomenal.

They wind up their tour in London at Royal Albert Hall on July 2 and July 3.  (I see Robby Robinson on the keyboard behind Frankie.)

Wish those idiots in the audience would quit whistling and hollering 

"Frankie" !!!!.    He's so thin. Never was a very big person though.

He probably lets the younger folks do the high voice now

 

I remember seeing Andy Williams when he was old at Branson and he had a bunch of younger men around him that did most of the singing.

 

He would come out and sing "moon river" and a verse or so, then, let the younger folks sing.

I love Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons!  I would have loved to see them but never did though I did see Jersey Boys. 

 

He still sounds great and looks good for his age!

Wonder if he did the 'Sherry' song ? That's a falsetto one for sure

They sang "Sherry," "My Eyes Adored You" and quite a few of their other hits.  There are so many!

 

Different attendees made videos  of the various songs.

 

You can see the outdoor venue where they performed at Scarborough on this video of "My Eyes Adored You."  I love this song for some very personal reasons.

We were lucky to see him perform at Sea World, San Antonio about 25 years ago.. A few hours before he was walking around the park with his grandchildren. He was amazing!  Smiley Happy

@golding76   My Eyes Adored You is one of my favorite Frankie Valli songs, too.  I've always loved it.

 

I was fortunate to be able to see Jersey Boys in Atlanta.  It was wonderful!
