I don't know if it's new but I just finished watching "The Light You Cannot See".  It was very good.  Exciting, sad, heart-warming --- the whole range of emotions!  It's on Netflix.

@chessylady,

thanks for mentioning this. I don't know why I thought season 5 was the end. I almost feel like Oh gosh I have to watch another season. It is excellent really.

But I'm just into less than a half hour of season 6 and again I'm finding it all so ridiculous with the Queen's-"you are either in or out. And Diana is no longer in. Diana is no longer an HRH." Or her son having to wait at her door to be announced!" And Charles almost begging his mother to attend Camila's 50th birthday so she will be accepted by the British public.

What a very strange life.

All made more formal and pompous by whoever was ruling and deciding well of course it was all for duty. We must do our duty musn't we and call it "service." All the pomp and circumstance of course! it is all duty to the crown/aka the Queen.

eta-but listening to the photographer Duncan talk about his love and admiration for the Queen, I can see how some find the whole thing comforting and a continuance. Always there, always duty.

I can't imagine but his words depicted well, the love of the Queen for many.

I recommend 'The Highwaymen' on Netflix, it's a 2019 film about two former Texas Rangers who come out of retirement to try and apprehend notorius outlaws, Bonnie & Clyde, movie is 2 hrs long, stars Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson.

On Prime. there is a lovely movie with Joan Plowright called:  Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont.  She is amazing in it, it's a little gem.

I loved it.  To me it came as close to the book as a film can, and all of the actors were perfect for their roles.
