Anyone watching the show "Botched" on E?

I recently came across this show late one night. The 2 plastic surgeons, Drs. Nastiff and Dubrow along with host, Maria Menounos (sp?) are having patients on the show who have had some sort of "work" done that was botched.

It was interesting to watch and hear their stories, with the exception of Janice Dickenson, who IMO, can be very annoying.

Anyone?

Yes, I'd DVR'd it as a repeat. I started watching I and couldn't stand listening and looking at it, so I just deleted all of it.

As they say, it was like watching a train wreck. So sad there are so many people who are obsessed about their looks.

Some people really need plastic surgery and it's a matter of choice for others. I don't blame people for wanting to get it (for whatever reason), I just don't want to watch it.

That lady in the beginning of the show. I saw a show with her on it before. I saw interviews of her children and how much they disliked her getting her brea'sts done soooooo large. It was sad that she ignored their feelings.

After having had the misfortune to encounter unexpectedly an episode of Botched featuring the egomaniacal, OTT, self-described "world's first super model" Janice Dickinson, it wasn't hard to determine one was more than enough. The promos painfully demonstrated that many of these patients would be better served by spending their money on intensive psychotherapy rather than endless cosmetic surgery procedures. Dr. Paul Massif first became known to viewers as the then-husband of RHOBH cast member Adrienne Maloof, the heiress whose family owns a Las Vegas casino and the NBA's Sacramento Kings.

It's amazing to me how these people can all continuously find ways to make money over other people's anguish or missteps (whatever happens to them).

Some people are weaker in spirit than others. It seems like there are always people around to take advantage of these people.

That said, perhaps some of these weaker people were able to get things done that they might not have been able to afford unless they were on the show. I don't know because I didn't watch the show. I would hope that not all of these people were interested in getting bigger bre,* asts.

I love Botched! I also recently watched the 'reunion' episode referenced here and it was very interesting. However, I could totally TOTALLY do without Janice Dickinson.

I like the two doctors and they really seem to want to help people who have been taken advantage of, by fixing the bad surgeries and procedures. They don't take on everybody. some of those people have been pretty interesting, but I just hope we don't see more Janice Dickinson next season! There was a reference to 'season three' in that reunion show, so I hope that means it's coming back.

Hey chickenbutt! I caught this one night when I couldn't sleep. It was entertaining and I did end up falling asleep before the end. DH found it through the TV guide and we watched both reunion shows last night.

Regarding the 2 doctors, if memory serves, I think Dr. Dubrow was involved in a TV show years ago called "the Swan"? Do you recall that one? Anyway, I enjoyed it and after watching the videos of those who want help, it looks like there's going to be a season 3. I, like you, can do without Ms. Dickinson.

I can't remember if I saw 'The Swan' or not. (memory no worky too well anymore)

The funny thing was that this show started shortly after I finished watching all 100 episodes of Nip/Tuck on Netflix. I thoroughly enjoyed that show and was sad that it was ending.

These two guys, in a very small way, reminded me of those two docs and having new patients coming in each week was kind of a similar format.

Two entirely different shows, but 'Botched' made me feel comfortable after missing Nip/Tuck. Smiley Happy I will totally look forward to the next season, hopefully sans Ms Dickerson.

I think I have seen every episode, some more interesting than others. I love Dr Dubrow, he is married to actress, Heather Paige Camp.
