I missed the whole Asylum season. I was on the road a lot and never managed to get into it. This season, though, i got caught up with Coven pretty early and have been watching ever since, sometimes with the covers over my eyes for the gory scenes. eewww. LOVE the show, though, in spite of the yucky stuff!
Next week is not the finale.. there're actually two more episodes (yay!)..
"The season finale for Coven, the third season of the hit anthology, airs January 29, 2014, with Episode 13, entitled "The Seven Wonders."
Until then, we still have Episode 11, "Protect the Coven," on January 15; and Episode 12, "Go to H*ll," on January 22.
January 29 seems way too soon — we're already dreading the months-long hiatus until Season 4. But at least we know there will be a Season 4: FX prudently renewed the hit series in November. The season will likely premiere in October, like the three sagas so far have.
Co-creator Ryan Murphy has dropped a few hints about the fourth year of the show: He says it will film in either New Orleans again or move to Santa Fe and that it won't be contemporary. (The only season so far to have not taken place primarily in the present was the 1960s-set American Horror Story: Asylum.)
He also says that he has approached Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett about sticking around for another season. Meanwhile, Jessica Lange has stated that Season 4 will be her last bout with the show… and yes, we're still trying to deal with that."

Side note: Stevie said she'd read the scripts and told Ryan Murphy that she'd written a song years ago that would go along with one of the upcoming epi's. I also understood her to say that she'd be back for a second appearance. I wonder if the song is Seven Wonders... hmmm... I'll be watching.
Cheers! ~ sue
