I don't watch any of the award shows, so I'm probably the least interested in the fact that there was a mixup. LOL

Yes.  They already know what happened - the PW exec responsible for handing the correct envelope to Warren Beatty was busy tweeting a photo of Emma Stone with her "Best Actress" oscar, when he handed the wrong envelope to WB.

Those who blame Warren Beatty are being unfair.  He clearly knew something was wrong and tried to get someone's attention, then Faye Dunaway just blurted out "La La Land", even as he was showing it to her and saying "It says Emma Stone...?"

Also, none of the presenters looks at the front of the envelope they're handed, so that isn't fair to put that on them either.

I don't think this deserves widespread media coverage and dissection.  It happened.  It's a shame, but it's over.

I care.  I enjoy the award shows especially the Golden Globes and the Tony awards.  When people stop watching them they will stop televising them.
